The final output of this deliverable emphasizes the development of modular and scalable ammonia storage tanks, a key element of the NH3CRAFT project. The design, with tank capacities of 200 m³, 500 m³, and 1000 m³, offers flexibility for integration into various vessel types, whether on deck or within the hull. Conservative assumptions have been made throughout the design process, ensuring that the tanks are dimensioned safely. This ensures the structural integrity of the tanks, as demonstrated by the two specific examples of modular applications. The robust design ensures safe and reliable ammonia storage, further advancing ammonia’s potential in future maritime applications.
