The first (3) workshops of the NH3CRAFT project took place online on 07-09 September.
The NH3CRAFT consortium partners joined all the workshops and provided a wealth of useful comments, work done so far and advice which will be considered, as appropriate, in order to give more value to the expected results of NH3CRAFT project.
There was an open discussion on the following topics:
1.Vessel Owner: Presentation of boundaries and requirements related to the candidate vessels, request of vessels documentation. Followed a discussion on the Boundaries and Requirements related to the candidate vessels from the owner’s side and at the end of the first workshop all the participants gave a scanning feedback.
2.Tank manufacturers and detailed design partners: Introduction of the scope of Workshop 2 to the consortium partners. Introduction of Boundaries and Requirements related to the manufacturing of steel & composite tanks from the respective makers.
3.Classification societies / Risk & Safety assessment partners: Introduction of the scope of Workshop 3 to the consortium partners. Followed a discussion about published guidelines related to the Boundaries and Requirements from the Classification societies and last was done a presentation about the scope of Risk assessment and the preliminary requirements.
