Progress update on Task 8.1: Operational, inspection, maintenance and emissions control procedures

Progress is on track for developing procedures for the ammonia fuel transfer and storage systems, with inputs from WPs 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, and experience from WP6.

  • HYD is responsible for developing operational procedures.
  • NTUA is focusing on inspection and maintenance procedures, utilizing structural health monitoring (SHM).
  • CSM is gathering insights from LNG and LPG systems to inform the approach.
  • RINA, ABS, and EKME are ensuring compliance with relevant O&G regulations.
  • TWI and UoS are compiling a list of technologies for NOx reduction.

The next steps include finalizing these procedures and continuing cross-partner collaboration to ensure all regulatory and technical requirements are met.
