NH3CRAFT project is progressing in the development of guidelines for risk assessment of ammonia-fuelled ships and their associated systems. The activities include the observation of the risks entailed through the use of ammonia as marine fuel, the regulatory developments in IMO and beyond, assessment of various methodologies for safety assessments of ammonia on board, and others. Ultimately, a common practice document for general application is intended to be created.
