NH3CRAFT Solutions Evaluation and Assessment Task 10.4 Overview!

Objective:

Conduct a comprehensive assessment and evaluation of NH3CRAFT solutions against identified Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

Methodology:

  1. KPI Identification
    • Utilise KPIs outlined in T2.4 as a benchmark for the evaluation process.
  2. Data Utilisation
    • Employ data sourced from the established data register.
    • Integrate results from tasks T10.1, T10.2, and T10.3.
  3. Holistic Performance Capture
    • Consider inputs from Work Package 7 (WP7) to ensure a wide-ranging performance analysis.
  4. QFD-Based Model Application
    • Determine the difficulty level for developed solutions to meet the KPIs using a QFD-based model.
  5. Technology Roadmap Informing
    • Apply this analysis to inform the development of a strategic technology roadmap.

Collaborative Inputs:

  • External Contributions
    • Procure insights from parties outside the Consortium, particularly the Stakeholders Committee members.
  • Questionnaires and Interviews
    • Solicit external inputs through targeted questionnaires and interviews.
  • Workshops and Seminars
    • Engage with participants during workshops and seminars for additional input.
  • Literature Review and Partner Experiences
    • Supplement analysis with information gathered from literature reviews and partners’ experiences from other projects.

Scope of Evaluation:

  • Include both practical demonstrators and theoretical desktop studies to provide a well-rounded evaluation.

Output:

  • Project Result Assessment
    • Analyze project outcomes, incorporating feedback from communication activities.
  • Stakeholder and Civil Society Discussions
    • Incorporate insights gained from interactions with stakeholders and civil society.
  • Policy Recommendations Guide
    • Develop a guide containing policy recommendations aimed at the EU, International Maritime Organization (IMO), and Member State Authorities.
    • Ensure wide communication of the guide to relevant parties.

By meticulously following these steps, we aim to deliver a thorough evaluation of NH3CRAFT solutions, which will be critical for informing future strategies and policy frameworks.
