Based on the recent findings of NH3CRAFT’s Project Quantitative Risk Assessment (QRA) study on the demonstrator ship, Dr. Mujeeb Ahmed Mughadar Palliparambil delivered an invited lecture titled “Quantitative Risk Assessment of Ammonia-Fuelled Ship: Design Recommendations” at the International Conference on Ships and Offshore Structures (ICSOS) held at IIT Madras, Chennai, India, 08-12 September, 2024.
The lecture covered the various case scenarios identified from the Hazard Identification (HAZID) Workshop which were the base for the QRA study. Key findings from the analysis for each scenario and future research work were also presented.
The lecture gained significant interest from the attendees, with many of the findings being novel and insightful to the audience.
