The objective of task 3.1 is the concept engineering design process for the Demonstrator hull integrated Tank Storage Systems.
The tank storage system consists of steel and composite tanks.
The principal engineering calculations will be performed in this task and :
- shall follow the rules, regulations, standards, design criteria and technology qualifications processes that are developed in previous work packages.
- shall take into consideration specific process details such filling limit curve, boil-off-rate calculation, tank holding time etc
- shall evaluate the impact on the stability of the vessel
The basic layout arrangement of the proposed solutions for the demonstrator will be an output of Task 3.1
Task 3.1 is feeding with all necessary information the tasks that are related with the detail design of the Demonstrator Tank storage and Auxiliaries Systems
