A basic design (pre-FEED) will be performed for the auxiliary systems of the desktop studies. Based on the operational needs of each desktop study, a distinctive design will be followed for every case. The main contents of the study will be the aspects related to the ammonia auxiliary systems and will be focused mainly in the areas of service, safety, electrical, bunkering systems and arrangements. More specifically, the basic engineering calculations will include (but not limited to) the materials evaluation and selection process, the applicable standards, thickness and pipe stress calculations and system components dimensioning and any relevant particulars considered as necessary. The produced documentation will be then reviewed by the respective Classification Society in order to receive the Approval-in-Principle (AiP) stage.
