Following the detailed design of the demonstrator vessel and the findings resulting from the Risk and Safety assessments conducted during the latest WP7 Workshops, various approaches regarding modularity and scalability are under development. These designs adhere to the fundamental principles extensively addressed for the tank storage systems of the demonstrator. However, they are expanded to encompass new shipbuilding, retrofitting projects, and vessels of varying sizes or types compared to the demonstrator. This expansion aims to achieve realistic and tailored scalability of the solution.
The design principles, key workflow parameters, and limitations imposed by the specific characteristics of the installation location (on deck or inside the hull) of each vessel are being assessed across the different selected cases.
